A Cut In Line Leads To An Arrest Police Say

ORANGE — Police said in a release that they responded to the CVS store at 279 Boston Post Road on a report of a disturbance.

Officers arrived and learned that while inside the store, Michael Sgro, 36, of New Haven, allegedly felt that another customer had cut in front of him in line at the pharmacy. Sgro is accused of yelling at the customer causing a disturbance, police said.

Sgro then followed the customer outside the store and pushed him to the ground, police said.

Sgro was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Derby on March 3.
