Popular Demand Barber Shop, a new barber shop, has opened next to Wild Acorns, 516 Boston Post Road. It will feature eight chairs.{{more}} The new business is owned by Patrick Doll, a 3-rd generation barber.

“This is a classic barber shop reinvented for modern times,” says Doll.

With eight barber chairs, he’s offering classic and modern cuts, as well as hot towel, lather and straight edge shaves. It’s a classy place for guys to relax, hangout and enjoy good conversation as the barbershop was intended.

Mid week it opens at 9 a.m, Sundays too, 10-2. Closed on Monday. Walk-ins and appointments accepted. Call 203-553-9331for additional information.

Celini Jewlery is now open next to Prime 16. The shop is stunning and showcases the jewelry better than any other jewelry store we’ve seen.

ALEEZ Salon & Spa, 500 Boston Post Road recently also had a grand opening.

Bed City Futon Gallery, 555 Boston Post Road, appears to have shut its doors after 26 years on the Boston Post Road. The owner of the property is Five Hundred Fifty Five-556 Boston Post Rd, and the owners are listed as Mafala and Angelo Gatti.

Education Works, 200 Boston Post Road, also recently closed its doors. The store sold quality educational items.
