Orange Community Farmers’ Market – Last Market Sept. 28

The Orange Community Farmers’ Market 2017 season is coming to an end, with the last market scheduled on Sept. 28.

“It was a great season with more vendors and participants as compared to last year,” said Annemarie Sliby, Executive Director of Orange Economic Development Corporation.

Fourteen vendors participated selling their products of a variety of vegetables, baked goods, maple syrup, artisanal teas, fig and citrus trees, soaps and lotions, pasta, pizza, and hand-crafted wool items. The weekly event attracted visitors of over 350 people. On five occasions, a variety of bands entertained the public under the gazebo and a few instrumentalists performed under the pavilion.

The last two markets of the season will be on Sept. 21 and 28 under the Pavilion at the Orange Fairgrounds, High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road in Orange. Market hours are 3:30 p.m.o 7 p.m.
