The Orange Players is mourning the death of town resident Rudy Miller, whose family has played an integral role in the organization over the years.
Miller served as treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Orange Players. He was the husband of Players co-founder Pat Miller, who also previously served as the arts editor for the Milford-Orange Times. He was also the father of John (Jack) Miller, who is the group’s Set and Technical Design Director/Assets chairman.
“Whether behind the scenes building sets or out front selling tickets, Rudy contributed to each production with enthusiasm for over 45 years,” the Orange Players said in a statement. “His warm demeanor and cheerful smile welcomed all who met him. Our deepest and most compassionate condolences to his family and loved ones.”
