Orange Police Close To Making Burglary Arrests

The Orange Police Department, working in conjunction with the North Branford Police Department, Hamden Police Department, and the New Haven Police Department, has been investigating a recent rash of overnight residential burglaries, motor vehicle break-ins, and motor vehicle thefts.

This activity occurred in the areas of Derby Avenue, Argyle Road, Currier Drive, David Court, Pinetree Drive, and Augusta Drive last week. This investigation has recovered three vehicles and personal property that had been stolen from residences in Orange, police said. {{more}}

A total of five suspects from New Haven have been identified with an age range between 14-23, (four juveniles and one adult). This joint investigation is ongoing as more arrests are expected.

Residents are reminded to lock their houses and vehicles and not to leave valuables in vehicles,

Arrest Warrant Affidavits will be submitted to both Juvenile and Adult courts for multiple charges.

Three residential burglaries, stolen Nissan Altima, several cars entered in the Pintree Drive, Argyle Road, Currier Drive area on 04/14/14

Stolen Land Rover LR4 and cars entered on Augusta Drive on 04/17/14
