Program At Milford Library To Offer Energy Efficiency Guidance

The Milford Public Library, together with the Milford Energy Advisory Board and the Environmental Concerns Coalition, will hold a public event on Saturday, March 23 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Milford Public Library offering all Milford residents and business owners ideas on how to implement energy efficiency projects and how to install renewable energy options in their homes and businesses.

The Energy Advisory Board has arranged for a number of Connecticut experts to walk participants through the many programs and options that are available to Milford residents and business owners. They will describe the benefits of these programs as well as how to begin to achieve cost savings from them.

In addition to experts on energy efficiency and renewable energy, the program will include financial experts who can describe low-cost and no-cost ways to pay for these programs.

The presentation will share local examples of homeowners and businesses that have already achieved significant savings through energy programs.

The program is free and open to the public. The Milford Public Library is located at 57 New Haven Ave. For more information, call 203-783-3290.
