Jeffrey Townsend of Woodbridge had the top time at the annual Cohen and Wolf Cinco K De Mayo foot race at High Plains Community Center on May 1. His time was 18 minutes and 56 seconds.

Cold weather and the threat of rain may have kept some runners home but the event started on time, with 94 runners registered and an estimated 25 walkers.
Sponsors for the event provided food, free items and massages.
